Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Insights: Copilot Analytics - Cowork adoption and impact

What changed

Includes export capability. All metrics can be queried by analysts with the new AI cost query in advanced insights.

Why it matters

Adoption and cost reporting influences Copilot governance, but analyst access and exported usage data must stay within reporting permissions.

Known limitations

• Availability, prerequisites and rollout scope remain authoritative in the linked Microsoft documentation.

Now check

• Confirm Copilot Analytics licensing and analyst permissions
• Validate Cowork metrics in the AI Cost and Copilot dashboards against a pilot population
• Test export and Advanced Insights query access without exposing restricted data
