Microsoft Entra Global Secure Access: one offering for Private Access and Internet Access

Microsoft Entra Private Access and Internet Access can be purchased together as one Global Secure Access offering from November 2, 2026.

What changed

The combined offering simplifies purchasing. Private Access and Internet Access remain available individually; this announcement does not introduce a new product. The article separately recaps capabilities shipped since September.

Why it matters

Identity and network teams can compare a combined purchase with existing standalone or Entra Suite coverage before changing subscriptions.

Known limitations

  • The purchase option is available from November 2, 2026. The article distinguishes public preview capabilities from generally available capabilities; the recap is not a claim that all features launched on that date.

Now check

  • Inventory existing Private Access, Internet Access and Entra Suite entitlements before comparing the combined offering.
  • Review the documented availability and prerequisites of each selected capability; distinguish public preview from generally available features.
  • Pilot relevant traffic-forwarding and Conditional Access policies with representative private and internet destinations before broad assignment.
