Bulk manage eSIMs on corporate-owned Android Enterprise devices

Microsoft Intune now supports bulk eSIM actions for corporate-owned Android Enterprise devices.

What changed

From Devices > All devices > Bulk device actions , you can activate eSIMs on up to 100 selected devices running Android 15 or later by using a carrier activation server URL. When you bulk wipe supported devices, Intune preserves eSIM data plans by default.

Why it matters

Bulk eSIM activation and wipe preservation change carrier provisioning and retirement workflows for corporate-owned Android devices.

Known limitations

  • Availability, prerequisites and rollout scope remain authoritative in the linked Microsoft documentation.

Now check

  • Confirm supported Android version, carrier URL and corporate-owned scope
  • Pilot activation and wipe with eSIM preservation
  • Document when helpdesk may remove an eSIM during retirement
