New updates to the Apple settings catalog

Microsoft Intune now supports new Settings Catalog options for testing on the OS 27 betas, covering Declarative Device Management areas such as App Settings , Web Content Filter , and Siri Settings for iOS/iPadOS and macOS.

What changed

Configure them under Devices > Manage devices > Configuration > Create > New policy > iOS/iPadOS or macOS > Settings catalog . This lets you test upcoming Apple management controls ahead of general availability.

Why it matters

Device-management changes can affect policy processing, reporting, app delivery or support workflows across managed endpoints.

Known limitations

  • Availability, prerequisites and rollout scope remain authoritative in the linked Microsoft documentation.

Now check

  • Compare the new Apple Settings Catalog options with supported OS versions
  • Create a pilot profile and check conflicts with existing Apple payloads
  • Review resulting device status and rollback steps
