Wipe multiple Android Enterprise devices

Use a bulk device action to wipe up to 100 corporate-owned fully managed (COBO), corporate-owned dedicated (COSU), or corporate-owned work profile (COPE) devices.

What changed

Bulk wipe supports up to 100 COBO, COSU or COPE devices. eSIM data plans are preserved by default; select removal only when the wipe must remove the plans.

Why it matters

Retirement and redeployment procedures must explicitly decide whether corporate eSIM data plans are retained or removed.

Known limitations

  • Announced in the week of October 26, 2026. Personally owned Android Enterprise work profiles are not supported.

Now check

  • Verify the selected devices use corporate-owned fully managed, dedicated or work profile enrollment.
  • Pilot a wipe and confirm eSIM retention matches the intended redeployment process.
  • For retirement, explicitly review the remove-eSIM option before confirming the destructive action.
