Remote Help support for GCCH environments

Remote Help is now available in US Government Community Cloud High (GCCH) environments.

What changed

Microsoft Remote Help is now available for Intune tenants in US Government Community Cloud High, providing cloud-based view and control sessions for enrolled devices.

Why it matters

GCCH support enables remote troubleshooting inside the regulated tenant boundary, but licensing, RBAC, consent and session auditing must be validated before help-desk use.

Known limitations

  • Availability, prerequisites and rollout scope remain authoritative in the linked Microsoft documentation.

Now check

  • Confirm Remote Help licensing, GCCH tenant availability and least-privilege RBAC roles
  • Pilot view and full-control sessions on representative enrolled Windows devices
  • Validate user consent, elevation behavior, session audit logs and support runbooks before production rollout
