Collect enhanced diagnostic logs from supervised Apple devices

Microsoft Intune now supports Apple's Enhanced Logging device action on supported supervised devices running a compatible OS release.

What changed

Administrators can start an AppleCare diagnostic-log collection session using an AppleCare-provided token and monitor device-reported status through Declarative Device Management, reducing the need to coordinate manual log collection with the device user. Applies to: iOS/iPadOS macOS.

Why it matters

Device-management changes can affect policy processing, reporting, app delivery or support workflows across managed endpoints.

Known limitations

  • Availability, prerequisites and rollout scope remain authoritative in the linked Microsoft documentation.

Now check

  • Map the announced change to affected Intune workloads and supported platforms
  • Pilot the exact profile, app or device action named by Microsoft
  • Review policy, app, enrollment and support reports before rollout
